The Team
Dr Patwala has been the principal GP at this surgery since 1st August 1992 when she took over the practice then situated at 66 Church Road Bebington.
Dr Patwala has a special interest in Women’s Services and is also able to refer patients to other health care professionals including Hospital Consultants, Community Psychiatrists, Psychologists, x-ray, ultra-sound scan, Physiotherapy, Social Services, Chiropody, and Macmillan Nurses etc.
Dr Patwala does not teach or train any health care professionals or persons intending to become health care professionals.
Dr Patwala’s daughter Dr Neha Mugerwa has now joined as a partner. She will be working all day Tuesday and Wednesday.
Appointments with Dr Mugerwa will also be available on a Wednesday evening between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. These are available to all patients and can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
The Practice Nurse
The practice nurse is a qualified registered general nurse (RGN) with additional training in practice nursing and is available for monitoring chronic diseases – asthma, diabetes, chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD), hypertension, chronic heart disease (CHD). The nurse is also available for well person clinics, ear syringing, cervical smears, childhood and travel immunisations and vaccinations, dressings and is able to help and advise you on such matters as smoking cessation and healthy living.
The Practice Manager
The practice manager can help you with any non-medical aspects of your health care. If you have any suggestions or complaints she will be happy to discuss them with you as we welcome any assistance from our patients that will help develop or improve the service we provide.
Data Manager
The Data Manager will be able to help you with any queries or suggestions you may have with regard to our website. She can be contacted on 0151 645 1020.
Administrative Staff
We have a part-time practice secretary who will be pleased to help you with any referral enquiries.
There are three receptionists including a senior receptionist, one administration clerk who are all skilled and experienced to undertake a variety of essential office duties. Reception staff have specific duties and therefore may not always be able to attend to you immediately. Please be patient as the receptionist running the appointments will be with you as soon as possible.
